Every January I binge all of Madonnaās music and Iāve come to my conclusion that my favorite iteration of Madgeās music is when she goes for a more somber midtempo semi-ambient moment (I donāt think Iām describing this accurately, but What It Feels Like for a Girl, Drowned World/Substitute for Love, you could maybe even throw Get Together on here). I think itās just an exciting lane for her because I think of her as this loud and brash figure, so when she goes for a quieter and more laid back moment itās really attention grabbing. Woah!!!! there are two types of solo dates i go on: one, where i sit with myself like at a restaurant/cafe i wanted to try or a movie i really wanted to see to enjoy it how i want to or two, where i surround myself with a new community so i feel less alone but I AM alone bc no one knows me options for one: movies, cafe/restaurant, library, thrifting, doing art outside, spa day, making a new meal at home, getting a sweet treat options for two: cooking classes, gym/zoomba classes, book clubs, pottery, hiking groups, escape rooms these are off the top of my head but enjoy yourself love thereās no one better to have fun with than yourself !
