if you’re just looking to, like, have a blog, bear is the best no-fuss atm. pika.page is pretty good too. if you’re looking for a social media platform with blogging in it, tumblr still exists. substack also has social features (that’s not a plus for me, but maybe it might be for you).

Blogs, podcasts, substacks nearly everything on the web has an rss feed. Reliable, platform agnostic, and algorithm free. My rss reader is loaded with a few news websites and lots of personal blogs. It makes the internet simpler and homey.
