I feel like AI is ruining everything it’s gotten to a point where sometimes I can't even spot when an image is AI, socials are filled with branded material, everyone is plastic, I’m filled from the nostalgia of the 2010s where the cool girls where mysterious and it girls were a rare gem, when you could go clubbing without ending up on someones tiktok, I’m tired of boring ass influencers, I want to go back so bad
like i remember in high school everyone would joke about others posting their lunches or whatever but oh my gosh i miss it. like now i feel this weird made up pressure of keeping up appearances (which may be all in my head), but i feel like it’s not enjoyable anymore, it’s more like an obligation to post on there? like i for one know i feel a little manufactured on there sometimes. again, totally probably all in my head lol. maybe i’m not finding the right words. i think i feel fatigued about it in general. this though is super refreshing.✿
Missing when people would actually post on social media, random silly stupid shit that didn’t matter and not just highly curated and perfected moments of their life. Basically before insta stories existed. Also meeting ppl through myspace and going to concerts and other things together.
