It’s my favorite time of year…Weather’s getting good and it's the glorious NBA postseason, where winning and losing matters a lot. Storylines are all unpredictable, lotsa surprises, upsets, script changes…Always some old reputations tarnished (Chris Paul?) new legacies born (Ja Morant). Right now we’re watching The Championship Finals and I'm still not really over the Heat loss, but decided that the only way I'm gonna have fun this series is if I get into my little Warriors Mode. This decision is in-part due to my hatred for the Celtics: their dumb, whiny attitude, ruthless media-chokehold, and basically all that the Bostonian culture represents...though I also tend to enjoy watching the Warriors win (in more ways than one) with Steph Curry being a unique points-machine wizard, and the team having motion offense brilliance with a little bit of awesome zone defense sprinkled in too. Speaking of fuckin Cool defense, special shouts-out to the tenacious Draymond Green for making Game 2 special to watch. His energy is super contagious when he's all charged up, talkin shit, startin shit, able to both guard his guy while also being everywhere else at once... that's what I call fun basketball!!! But enough about that, the point of this is to say it's not always easy figuring out where to watch games (blackout broadcasting, league Pass scams, Hulu glitching) so look to NBA reddit streams as an easy way to throw on any game for free.

So, this is the time of month where you tell the wife to give you space because Jalen Brunson rolled his ankle again, this is where you fill your liver with the finest six dollar beer, four dollar beer, whatever dollar beer because your team has no shot at guarding Nikola Jokic, this is where you rip shots after an annoying loss to the Celtics where you blow a eight point fourth quarter lead, this is the time where you and your father talk hours about basketball after a terrible loss where James Harden suddenly turns into a pumpkin... THE NBA PLAYOFFS BABY!!!! Big storylines are as following: Can OKC finally do it? Either SGA is a foul merchant, or a silky gunner, a weapon that launch artilleries towards defenders; Is Denver ready to make a run after firing their coach in a catty way? Are the Knicks not going to ruin my life? WATCH THE NBA PLAYOFFS

Kindness

Kindness seems out of style right now. everyone seems more self absorbed and selfish nowadays. The best parts of life are spent with others or for others. the more you feed into the little voice in your head that gets angry at any annoyance the more your soul erodes. You should hold the door open for people and be a good listener. you should care about people you will never meet. Doing things you don’t really feel like doing to make others happy is what life comes down to Sometimes and thats ok. it’ll all come back around. when kindness comes back in style you should be able to say “I’ve been on that”
