This album takes me to such a weird place. I just want to lay down, state at the ceiling and cry every time I listen to it. I'm unable to cry but it does bring out those emotions and if I was normal I'd be sobbing.

I think I've bawled my eyes out to every track at this point for different reasons. not even exaggerating. once you think you're done with it you get hit with a brand new emotion and find new symbolism in the lyrics. and another painful feeling to unfurl and free yourself from. if I could get everyone to listen to an album this would be my pick

this whole album "I could live in hope" is my all time favorite sad album. slowcore is a fantastic genre for crying lol this song in particular always hits me so hard

I’m too dear with lovely things. I keep the brooch my 2nd grade teacher gave me in a box, safe, and because of this I’ve never worn something I really like! I recently decided I needed to wear my brooch with the sweater I finished knitting this weekend. It made it feel even more special. :)

The contrast Between the bright green of new growth and the darker old scales of a cedar tree leaves

I was talking to a friend who’s visiting home after being abroad and we both agree that not seeing familiar trees fills you with a certain longing/loneliness. I love western red cedars!
