Making your own soundtrack to found footage

I’ve been messing around with my guitar, obs and some cool footage I’ve found. Huge recommend for if you’re a Musician and want to sharpen your ideas and improvisaton skills. My style is very ambient/drone/sludge oriented so I have it pretty easy but all the same I am convinced I’ve invented a new genre of yt video at the very least 🤠

Sound Design and solo eurorack jams

Sound design has been a passion of mine for as long as i can remember. To let loose and relax, i set up a solo jam session with only a blank patch and a theme for the vibe. I love hearing what i come up with after 30 mins and just let it run - no need to record anything since it is for me.

Noise music

I’ve been making it for a few years and I can say with confidence it is one of the most important things in my life. cannot recommend it enough. Extremely fun to play, and, if you’re the type of person to fall in love with sounds, EXTREMELY fun to listen to. try and make it sometime, just to see what happens. i really do think there’s a noise musician inside everyone

just starting i guess and not putting pressure on yourself to make a “hit”

I’m still early on making music — but this is it: I️ played like drums in middle school and then fell out of like “performing“ until adulthood when I️ decided to start DJ-ing. I️ loved that so much I️ was like I️ feel like I️ can make my own things like 6 months ago and I’ve just been making small shitty 2 minute things for myself every day. For me it’s kinda meditative? Like usually no one hears the songs I am making (besides my partner) but it’s really just for me. No clue if any of them will ever reach a record or be on Spotify, but I️ feel like it’s making me greater appreciate music in general.
