This five part video series comes from a YouTube channel called “New England Forests.” It’s awesome. The guy films, edits, and narrates everything himself. He’s a total gearhead, so the footage is stunning, but I don’t think he always records audio, so he will sometimes use these canned, lowres sfx. That being said, he seems to witness every living thing that goes on at the pond, because it’s not just about beavers - it’s about the whole ecosystem that forms when a stream gets turned into a pond. You will learn a lot about ecology, and also about one guy’s ability to really make something happen with his spare time.

really great slow wholesome watching a dude in the woods refurbishing this amazing boat. love the letter writing format and the scale of this project. how long it's going to take and going along with him. very calming and peaceful and deliberate. could not recommend enough

I found this guy via TikTok and started watching him on YouTube. I’ve always loved animals so these videos fascinate me. His calming voice combined with the piano make me feel like I’m watching a young, scientific Mr. Rogers.
