spending spring break in San Jose so I went to Cinequest, and it was just really nice. small theater but such a cool vibe. If you get the change to check out a film festival I super recommend it! (Not just Cinequest but man there were some good movies)

it takes you to the coolest parts of town and they always got the nicest staffs and you get to watch cool films bonus: hearing people who are passionate about films calling films “pictures” it just does something to my heart!!

First year my town had their own film festival and it was a lot of fun! I got a day pass and it was just fun to pay $25 and see a bunch of stuff I probably wouldn’t have even heard of otherwise.

Someone mentioned being able to reduce the site's motion, and that's 100%—but I also think changing text font/size, overriding profile themes (basically making every single page on the site show in the theme you chose for your profile and the base site only), things like that. I need high contrast and some of the themes hurt my eyes.

if you've never had a Korean corndog, oh my god. so much superior to a normal corndog. Never been a super big fan of cornbread, it just sticks in my mouth too much. But Korean corndogs solve that issue because they use a different breading. It depends on the type of corndog (restaurant I went to recently has tons—a corndog covered in Fruity Pebbles? get outta here!) but I tend to get classic ones with just batter and breadcrumbs and it changes my life. you can also choose to have no meat inside and a full mozzarella dog, or half sausage-half cheese. it's very customizable and that's a huge plus for me, since I have a lot of issues with food. Just cannot recommend these enough. if you haven't had a Korean corndog please reconsider immediately 🙏

Also known as The Angel of Hearth and Home, a beautiful 1937 painting by German surrealist Max Ernst. one of my favourite artists, and this painting is especially close to my heart :)
