had a lot of family over to make some stuff for eid and haven’t done this in a LONG while like the last time we did this was maybe two or three years ago causw my family just kinda keeps getting bigger here but it just took me back to childhood when we used to come home from school and smell stuff being fried and hanging out with my cousins waiting to break our fasts and it was so fun though i did have to sneak out for a bit to watch some f1 and deal with the chaos that comes with little kids being around i wouldn’t change a thing attached is a snack (don’t know if yky could really call it tbat though) that is usually made on eid in my household but is so good and should def be made more often
I'm a broke college student fr, so i typically stick to eating/cooking mostly the same foods everyday. but rn i’m fasting sunrise to sunset for ramadan (in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza) and i think about food ALL DAMN DAY. today i conceptualized a khao soi curry chicken quesadilla with a cilantro mint basil greek yogurt dipping sauce. gonna put some paneer cheese on it with some shallots and peppers. the typa shit dreams are made of. y’all i got 5 hours until i can eat/cook but ill keep you updated. have you guys ever conceptualized some good ass fusion foods?? i’m tryna cook crazy stuff more often
the situation right now in palestine is so severe ! 85% of gaza's population has entered phase five of malnutrition ! the most critical and dangerous phase ! un trucks overflwoing with aid sit idle as palestinian men , women and children starve to death ! this is not a famine ! this is an engineered tool of genocide ! this is a tol of murder and depopulation !
SPEAK UP FOR THE PEOPLE OF PALESTINE NOW !!
a mental health break taken with my friend
