super chocolatey and easy to make
yields ~ 24 cookies
- 1 box of fudge brownie mix (any brand)
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) of unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips
- Flaky salt (optional)
1) Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
2) Dump brownie mix (ignore additional ingredients on the box), melted butter, and egg into a medium bowl.
3) Beat with a hand mixer.
4) Fold in chocolate chips.
5) Scoop onto baking sheet, at least 1 inch apart. Flatten slightly with hand and sprinkle with salt, if using.
6) Bake for 10-15 minutes. Edges will be set and centers no longer look wet
