I was such a neti pot denier for years I was like I am not waterboarding myself with a teapot that’s fucking stupid sorry !!! And then during a particularly bad wave of chronic health issues I recently purchased one again and let it sit on my counter unopened until finally reaching for it in a moment of desperation and I take back everything I said Neti pot is love neti pot is life. I had such a bad allergy day I was so close to sending a “hey sorry I have to bail the trees are trying to kill me :(“ text after trying: 1. Allegra 2. Claritin 3. prescription strength Flonase 4. Cromolyn sodium otc mast cell stabilizing spray (I actually do think this helped but not enough) 5. Querectin 6. Just plain fucking DayQuil. Decided to try the neti pot in the shower in one final attempt to rally (hot shower honestly prob helped too. Gotta get the pollen off of you asAl) and instantly the throat tickle went away and my eyes started itching less and body got less icky feeling and energy came back. So yea neti pot gang til I die also don’t do it too many times just a little rinse or two in each nostril will do the trick bc I started going overboard since then and I think I got some water trapped in a ear canal now maybe. And use distilled/bottle water and yea rebuke the pollennnn baby. O also next season get some local honey and eat a teaspoon every day leading up to allergy season unless you’re like me and forget every year
Same concept as a Neti pot but with a squeeze bottle instead of a teapot. An ENT suggested it and I’ve been doing it daily for many years. My allergies rarely get really bad anymore. I do Claritin in the morning and Flonase at night. I use Sudafed a couple times a day instead of Claritin during particularly bad periods.
“Bone broth this” “Liquid IV that” ok well consider: pocari sweat 🤔🧐 the thinking man’s electrolyte beverage. no idea what’s in this shit but tastes great and makes me feel slightly less like shit. Great for if ur like me and find drinking water for survival/regular organ function “boring” and “lacking whimsy”
