I'm the type of person who watches movies, I don't tend to find myself being utterly enthralled by a show. HOWEVER, Fleabag did that for me; it made me cry, it made me laugh, it made me feel seen in the eyes of a 30-something year old. The only show that ever came a little close to that was This is Going to Hurt, or Crashing (also directed and starred by miss Phoebe). So, basically what I've been doing since is trying to find shows that mimic that feeling; or even provide me with a feeling just as strong.
not a movie, but a relatively short tv series. about different kinds of grief, and also love and loving yourself, and the complications of family, and being a woman.
I know fleabag is what gets the most recognition when talking about phoebe waller bridge but I am begging you all to watch crashing on Netflix it simply amazing!
I don't know the amazon 🤢 log in so needless to say, when the parents are away, I can display.. (fleabag in the living room). The first time I watched it, I accidentally stayed up until 3am finishing the show because I couldn't put it down. Fl;eabag's been talked about for years and yet it's STILL not overrated IMO. Plus, it's only SIX EPS per season... 24 minutes long!!! It;'s a no-brainer.
I should at least be able to look at my saved pins and reminisce when I have no wifi and nothing better to do, like cmon guys let me have this one thing
