i was 10, had been into drumming for a while and loved neil peart. it was a great show, very memorable. i wouldn't consider myself a huge rush fan now by any means but i'll still listen on occasion when i feel nostalgic.
they played blue album start to finish and little teenage me crowd surfed. the show was the day after homecoming and it was my first concert without my family.
I saw them a bunch of times (lucky me) but I will never forget the show at the Lucky 7 House in Olympia circa 2003 with the Whip (RIP). Absolutely nuts. I was a youngster at the time and amazed that all the older grumpy rockers were going wild. I guess now Iām an old grumpy rocker reminiscing about it.
