Something about this monkey man. I once went over to my coworkers apartment and her mom collected Monchichi in the 80’s and gave the entire collection to her, so her place was filled with cute little monkeys in every corner. I want every available Monchichi now and in my place.
Monkeys used to be my favorite animal since I was gifted a stuffed animal of one by my aunt when I was born. These days my favorite animal is probably a horned lizard or seahorse… anyways got this at the zoo today!
This movie took me a little bit to get into, but I’m chalking that up to its less than ideal English dub, therefore I suggest you watch it in the original Japanese version with subtitles. Very visually beautiful movie with a very creative concept, it’s made by the same creators of Perfect Blue and Tokyo Godfathers just so you know what to expect.
I was a hardcore Yerba mate hater until I tried the Guayaki “Enlighten Mint” flavour. I still think the majority of Yerba mate is gross but I will continue to drink them in massive quantities.
