This has been a serious passion project and Iโm incredibly proud of the result. It would honestly mean the world if you gave it a watch and told me what you think :)
A few months ago, an out-of-state friend asked me to submit a presentation to their PowerPoint party. It should have been simply pointing the camera at myself and a screen, but instead I poured 30 hours into writing a script, multiple recordings, gathering media, and editing to produce a mere five minute video (the presentations had a time-limit thank god i would have kept going). It was fun! And now I have a new found respect for people who make YouTube essays for a living.
and i would heavily appreciate if you watched it. i went to the american music awards as a red carpet + general audience and vlogged the hours leading up to it. i love making videos as iโve been doing it since elementary school, but i tend to be shy about putting myself out there.
im really into thinking about diasporic cinema, as in this new wave of cinema by recent immigrants / first gen americans, about this sort of โthird way/third waveโ culture. i wrote this piece about latin american cinema and how US-Latin cinema could take inspiration from it. any thoughts are welcomed and appreciated -SF

Been itching for video essays to listen to while writing my own essay-essays and video essay scripts that I have been working on. This channel has a great collection of stuff and honestly might pop off soon if they keep up the great work. Just finished their most recent video on the Romeo and Juliet. Great channel overall. Highly recommend
