This is something I love to do. I have no concept of their quality but that doesn’t really matter. They sit in my notes app (or voice memos if I’m feeling Brave). They will never get instrumentation nor will they ever leave my phone, but I don’t mind.

I have always written lyrics in my notes app. I have never really taken them seriously though. With that said, I have just written a song with my guitar and built it by singing it out loud. I haven’t felt this creatively fulfilled in a while. It’s not a full song yet but it’s a solid chunk. It’ll probably never be heard by anyone but me but I feel so free right now.
Even if you think you’re bad at singing or bad at guitar, if you want to write a song, go and do it.

im 24, i am a sound designer. I have won awards for sound design. I have a 1st in a degree that included me to do sound designing. I like books and music and films and pictures and friends and my ex and sound designing sounds for my ears, and hopefully one day, your ears too. i also like my bed and listening to sounds. Did i mention sound?
