I haven’t seen a single person take good pics with one (change my mind, I’m persuaded easily)

Yeah I know throwback cameras of all kinds are hot right now (regardless of their image quality and often just based on nostalgic vibes) so that we may become untethered from those infernal smartphones but I feel like we need something more real and Authentic so let’s go back to the first photographic process baby…

i've always wanted to tote around a camera with me with the intention of taking more pictures. for awhile that was my grandma's vintage kodak cameo, but then developing film became so much more expensive and i stopped. i didn't necessarily want a 2000s digital camera because having screens to look at in a camera makes me feel unecessarily judgy of myself? 😭 i found out about this by accident through an ad on reddit and i was really taken in by it having the uncomplicated energy of a film camera but the convenience/cost saving of digital cameras. i've had this for about 3 months and i love it. i actually remember to snap quick photos but i'm not staring at the screen contemplating whether or not my teeth look weird. it's sturdy too! my clumsy self has dropped it in my rocky backyard.

iā€˜ve been taking photos with various cameras over the years, but there’s something so special about 2000s/early 2010s digicams – plus, they aren’t too expensive secondhand! obv the image quality isn’t perfect, but the photos have this certain quality to them that’s so different from phone pics, so i think it’s worth it :)

Not sure what it is about Faye.. the way she writes is so simple (not an insult🫣), but everything she says makes you stop and think about stuff that feels bigger than it seems. I listen to these lyrics, and it’s like I’m living the same things.. something small and everyday, but it lingers with you, leaving you in your thoughts long after.

Every time I look at this |The Thrill of Loneliness by Hana Stretton| plays in my head. There’s something in the quiet, the stillness, that feels like it could pull you under, but also makes you feel alive. White Sands by the way BMS/10 🄪
