Not only is it a short book but it is made by a great philosopher. Albert Camus is a legendary absurdist philosopher and I loved reading this narrative book. I would recommend checking out more of his philosophical ideas rather than just this book but do what you want. He has written other books that I heard was good but I havenโt read them yet.
Anything by Camus is a banger but the stranger was the first book I read by him. Def recommend as it gives a good look into absurdism and the social contracts we play into.
my favorite book
existential.
its a little slow in the beginning but stick with it, it gets wild.
leaves a lot to think about
can be depressing if u internalize it too much
This is seriously one of the best books I've ever read, Camus' writing is enchanting, which is something I didn't know that I could find in deeply philosophical texts. I couldn't rec it more if I tried
Iโm not going to go into detail of the story of the film because I think it is better to watch when you donโt know the plot of the movie. This film always makes me teary-eyed when I watch it. It is an amazing melodrama made by the legendary Akira Kurosawa. It is one of the most genuinely moving films ever made in my opinion. Great acting as well!
Such an important documentary film, and Iโm glad that my local Lyric Theater showed this film. It was devastating but I hope more people watch this film. Thank you to the people who worked on this film. Iโm so glad this film won an Oscar! The work done in this film is great and I would love to applaud every single one of these people that made this movie.
