it’s my towns zine fest today and it was a creative goal of my to do one this year!
i decided to do my year so far in collages and i finally finished the cover page today!
collaging has been my favorite way of keeping memories this year and honoring the people i love! by keeping business cards, receipts, stickers, and scraps i’ve been really happy to capture the moments i love this year so far. super fun as well!

made a couple collages in 2024 and had a lotta fun. something about searching thru magazines for the right picture or word feels like a game, and then u get to create something out of it!! i got the urge to make one for the new year and vision board!! been awhile since i’ve had inspo for physical art, didnt realize collaging would be for me lol

i’ve literally been unable to stop collaging idek !! but i’ve found it as such a lovely outlet, both for feelings in a way traditional journaling never could be, and for a general need to do art. i’ve been junk journaling a lot too, but this is just a random one i made the other day im pretty pleased w :)

i think people don’t utilize their local libraries enough when they’re such wonderful resources!
one of my favorite things to stem from the library and library cards is the app “libby”! it’s an amazing way to get free books, audiobooks, and magazines digitally.
completely free if you have a library card (which are also totally free!)
go support your local library!
