Weird guy making even weirder videos at a rate of about 3 a year, caters specifically to my particular brand of bizarre humour, the video I've linked is one of my faves just because of how fantastic the awkwardness is between the two of them. Criminally underrated channel, I'm a big proponent of slow content.

Lowkey have learned shitloads from this channel. It took me a while to get used to this guys grating YouTube announcer type voice and dad jokes but now I find it incredibly soothing. I am 100% a sucker for a cheesy youtube history video, museum, anything like that. Weird History is my go-to on tour, before bed, etc. Also they have another channel called Weird History Food which is very informative and entertaining. If i didn’t make it as a musician I would totally be producing content like this for a living. It rocks.

Charborg: https://youtube.com/@chrbrg Variety streamer who edits streams into funny videos. Very silly man. Jerma. Inspiration to all silly men. VideoGameDunkey: https://youtube.com/@videogamedunkey doesn't matter if you're not into videogames that much, still very funny to watch. He used to live stream every now and then, and every single one of them is gold. Watch his vods on yt if you're looking for longer stuff to watch. CoolManVan: https://youtube.com/@coolmanvan Most well known on Tiktok, but makes extremely funny yt videos too. DEFINITELY recommend. He also has funny vids that are like weirdly beautiful and cinematic in Day Z? So yeah definitely check him out. Sleep Deprived: https://youtube.com/@sleepdeprived Very funny group of individuals. Watch all of their solo stuff too.

this channel has become my fav on youtube. it's just a sweet little autistic man (he loves updating his audience about his special interest in trains) who makes long form video podcasts about obscure topics and historical events. his whole energy is very Nardwuar mixed with Mr Rogers. he's also got some great perspective and insights and a lot of his videos leave on a very thought provoking note. his channel made me really nostalgic when I first found it and I realized it's because it gives early youtube vibes. i miss when most of youtube was pure little dinky passion projects like this.

Made a WhatsApp group with all my film friends in it and have been using it coordinate going to screenings. It's so much fun! There's loads of little independent screenings happening where I live and some very good independent cinemas, but even if all you have is a TV you should start a film club too. This evening I'm off to an old pub that's been converted into an events space to watch The Garden by Derek Jarman 😎

I've been really interested in silver casting for ages and finally managed to get a place on a carving and casting course at my local jewellery school. It's been an absolute blast, and as someone who's bad at making time to do creative stuff, having something timeboxed in that I've already paid for makes a huge difference. I was also for a long time adamant that the only thing I needed to pick up new skills was YouTube and some perseverance, I was absolutely wrong, there's nothing better than having an expert nearby and all the right tools on hand to make learning a new skill less painful. So take a class! Learn something new! Apply your innate ability to create beautiful things! Pictured: The two rings I've made so far, one was cast from a design I sculpted in blender and then 3d printed. I love it's lil' face 😊
