anyone else enjoy old blues like robert johnson, blind lemon jefferson, leadbelly, charley patton etc or is it just me ??? simple yet sad lyrics, just a dude busking thru the terrible Deep South during the Jim Crow Era trying to make a name for themself…like delta blues style guitar always captivated me i wonder if it could be incorporated into modern music…i hope i can try to one day
The all-time greatest American folk singer to ever live. All of his music has a distinctly wistful and familiar sound to it, like he's right there with you in all the shit. Also, he was a liberal before being a liberal was cool and I can't help but respect a man who writes a song called "Tear the Fascists Down".
