I may not have much work experience, and my first and so far only time in a part-time job didn't go great (I sucked at my job and quit before they could fire me), but working a casual "schedule" is a *nightmare* so far.
I like knowing I have a consistent set of shifts! When I'm casual, though, the days change, the amount of shifts change, and my job has me working strictly 3 HOUR shifts. Insane! My work hours can literally be 3 hours a week. I like planning things while knowing my shifts in advance. Casual is just too sporadic for a guy like me ๐

In between jobs right now and I love being able to do whatever I want but sometimes I miss that sense of structure in my life.

Iโve been working in the service industry for like 13 years and nightlife for over 5. I decided in 2019 to go back to school and this past December I graduated. I just got a part time gig in my field but the pay is really good and I can finally see myself getting out of working 9-4am.
The last three years have been the hardest of my life and when I tell you I SOBBED after I got this fucking part time job. Iโve never had a desk job so Iโm incredibly nervous but so excited. Anything is possible! I donโt believe in my career being my life but I do believe in having a job that doesnโt make you not want to be alive!

I took this pic of my friend while we were out and about in the city. I can't say I hung out with friends much when I was still in high school so I really love that I've built myself up more as a sociable person :)

Kneecap was by far my favourite. Just an absolutely blistering first feature that is extremely fun starring the Irish language hip-hop group of the same name. Knew nothing about them going in, but it was electric watching it in the cinema even without much of an audience. The Irish language is so cool.
In terms of "best"? I absolutely adore The Substance.
