Iāve been wanting to help with costume design (no experience at the moment) in the local community theater scene where I live and so I just offered to help with it in my current play and now I get a chance to try something new!!!

Just finished up a week-long run of Shakespeare's Richard the Third and feeling so proud of everyone involved. I love acting and hope it'll become a bigger part of my life, but even with that said working on this latest production has been so inspirational. I've met and gotten to know so many fantastic people putting their all into theatre as a hobby ā for a few of them this was their first time onstage and it was so fun watching them grow and shine as we neared opening night.
Personally, my role in the play as the Duchess of York wasn't a key character, but it was one I found massively challenging for a number of reasons ā but once we got into live performances something clicked and I felt like with each show I learned something new about myself and the role.
I can't recommend this enough as an opportunity to meet new people, push yourself out of your comfort zone, and also guilt your friends into spending nearly three hours in a dark cramped room š

Theatre acting in general. Not in a movie but a big stage with quick costume changes and memorized scripts. I've always loved it in general- especially doing something like that. Even tho I know it would never happen.
I've always loved acting, but now I realize I love theatre acting. I don't know why- I don't have any experience or skill in that kind of acting, but I just feel like I'd nail it haha. As if the the love of it would automatically make me really good.

I canāt believe itās a debut and not a single song is a skip. Theyāre referenced several times in the MF DOOM biography and itās funny how much the āyour favorite artistās favorite artistā rings true for them
