yay i've been lookin for strava friends
i post anything body related on strava. went in the sauna? boom. playing with my friends in the park? it's there. it's a very nice archive for all my bodily activities that i wanna log.
sue me for liking my ever-data-collecting wearable tech, but i love my watch for this reason. even physically passive activities, i love recording as "mind&body"
i feel like using strava like this is about as real as social media can get right now. it's things that i've physically done with my body! also it's not like i get kudos like i may get likes on another platform. i usually post into an empty abyss. but i still enjoy it. i'd also enjoy it if it were popular among my friends lol.
i highly suggest. it's so fun

some guy recommends cool parts of the internet and i was lucky enough to see that video and find pi.fyi :) i absolutely love it, i already got three of my closest friends to download it lol (but i sent them the wrong link so i accidentally only referred one of them loln't... there goes my mug)
i definitely do, i feel like in other apps/social media there's just this expected behaviour or social cues u must follow that make me barely post or just severely overthink whenever i do. that never happens here, it really feels like a journal with cool people who support ur every move, no matter how silly it is hehe

I love it here. If I don’t see my normal peeps for a few days, I start wondering where all of my friends are. I’ve even met some beautiful people IRL!!!!
I know I shared this on a post a while back, but it had been so long since I had Internet friends like this. I think that since this is not a photo or video forward app, it really helps with that. I like reading people’s thoughts. thank you for sharing them!

I’ve become so passive on all other social media. I only sort of use instagram and TikTok. Someone on TT actually recommended this app (I should probably find him). I was interested because I felt like it was harder for me to find new music and I was hoping to find some good stuff, which I have!
This has been a pleasant surprise. I’m so grateful for this space. I haven’t had random internet friends for a long time, and I didn’t even realize how much I missed it! I love connecting over shared interests and ideas. I love that I can be as anonymous as I want. I‘ve only been here a few weeks and feel it’s brought with it fresh creativity.
Personally, I’m more home bound than ever before, so this is my equivalent to getting out and socializing with people (which I still do IRL, just not daily in this way). Thanks for being my friends!! 💗
