i think this is why this space is so special. nobody here is trying to go viral, people generally don't seem to gaf about likes. i don't even know how to view how many likes a rec has.
people are just sharing things they think and things they love. it's so wholesome. it's like getting a special insight into someone's diary. virality is an unintended consequence, not the end goal – which is why everything feels so authentic.
