Great band named after the My Bloody Valentine singer/guitar player. They might have my favorite album cover of all time as well. Old Style Amani, Half Open, and Boyfriend are some of my faves.
Love them sm listening to their music makes me feel like i’m roadkill gone to heaven (not derogatory). Bull believer is 8 minutes of catharsis (girl screaming and mortal kombat references)
Beak> has been around for some time now, featuring some of Bristol’s finest talents, including members of Portishead. They came on my radar when they produced the debut Anika album many years ago. This is pure CAN and that’s not a bad thing to be!
I just love them. They’re like old BCNR before Isaac Wood left. They’re weird and sonically interesting… What’s not to love?
