In college I was a musical hater, in a blind blanketed statement these movies were not for me. Singin in the Rain then changed my life. Many of my favorite movies I watch initially to a mixed feeling or review, but am pulled back to for some strange reason, with this reason normally being it is destined to be one of my favorite movies!
Filled with joy around every corner, Singinā in the Rain is a movie of its time. Colorful and happy as ever, Gene Kelly proceeds to tap dance for half the run time and itās perfect. Ugh itās truly timeless!!!
Side note: I think that tap dance needs to be brought back. One of the most sexy masculine things ever used to be Gene Kelly tap dancing. Why canāt we bring this back!!! Normalize tap dancing please it looks so cool and fun.

iāve recād this before and iām reccing it again hereā¦ the musical numbers are over the top with set and costume design (photos here donāt do it justice) and i wish movies nowadays looked this way

(itās also about film but) itās about when the movie business changed from silent films with instrumental music to ātalkiesā with dialogue and composed music synced to the film. thereās a musical movie being made with popular stars EXCEPT the female lead is a horrible singer. so they have to replace the recordings of her singing with recordings from an actually talented singer (who is not famous). antics ensue, many fun song and dance numbers, someone falls in love, etc

I think mountain lions are so cool, just thinking about them right now. If I could have a mountain lion as a companion I so would. They are beautiful creatures, iconic symbols of the American west, which I also love. If I ever saw one in the wild I would be so scared but later Iād think it was cool.

I have always been on selfies and yes itās kinda embarassing and yes itās kinda cringe but I think taking photos of ourselves in moments helps you feel like you have moments that are worth documenting AND you look good in them! Also funny factor on selfies is so good. Look at this selfie I took.
