Echoing this, meet people with your edge. By that I mean try to avoid just having a ânice conversationâ. say the things you feel compelled to say but maybe wouldnât normally speak up about because youâre aiming to make the other person like you or think youâre normal. This can be kind of tricky because maybe your mind tends to go blank or your edgy thoughts are actually TOO edgy. Use discretion! Itâs easier to find people who are like you if you act like yourself. This may seem obvious but itâs easier said than done. Like this commenter said, this WILL weed people out. Donât take that as an insult (again, easier said than done). Also, I personally recommend picnic dates, especially in areas where you can people watch. Itâs fun to talk about food (if ur into that) and what kinds of food people do and donât like.
