i also work at a camp over the summer and it seriously is the best job ever. going to the science museum every week and doing crafts and running around outside, working with kids makes me feel like a kid again

this was very hard because i love most of the months but i love june most of all. she’s sunny she’s warm youre not sick of the heat just yet. classes just let out and for me my summer job starts in june (camp counselor which i fw heavy) so i love love love june. she’s like a girlfriend to me but she never lasts long enough. i’m getting excited just thinking that june is less than two months away and it’s going to be warm and sunny and i will be poolside soon enough….. also!!!! the days are long we have the longest day of the year this month…. nine pm sunsets they could never make me hate you

JULY!!
It’s the middle of summer. It’s hot as fuck. I have a little bit of a tan (but mostly I’m red) and I spend every second I can in a body of water, natural or otherwise. Watermelon, cold beer, endless sunlight, tank tops, relentless heat, and everyday optimism.

reels are like... the mcdonalds of media except worse because mcdonalds is tasty. rarely do i ever get a reel that i'm like ohoho!!! thank god i came across this!!! i've largely split from using ig at all because of how easy it is to lose yourself in reels + how shitty i feel after. fuck short form portrait doomscrolling all my homies hate short form portrait doomscrolling

i guess you don't HAVE to use a rec as a rec, but maybe have a third option other than rec and ask. maybe just call it thoughts? for when you have a thought or a feeling that you want to share but it isn't a recommendation. maybe having an anti-rec option under recs, too! like a drop down when you do choose to make a rec, you can choose to anti-rec. make sense?? lastly, having changing your email/password built into the settings. i ran into this the other day when i put my email in wrong and had to get ahold of you guys!!
