salted caramel lately, usually in a cup

i always realize after finishing it that its exactly what i ordered last time i had ice cream. i’m equally drawn to it everytime after being annoying asking to try at least five flavors, my hands full of tiny disposable spoons by the time i make my final (always somehow somewhat rushed and guilty?) decision

Something sexy like pistachio or refreshing like mint chocolate chip

If pistachio is available then I'm falling straight into its silky salty sweet embrace. As mouse says the pistachio gelato from the place at the end of our street is God tier and I am yet to try anything better. Elsewhere I like a refreshing mint choc chip because it tastes kind of like toothpaste but in a really enjoyable way and I like that it's often a kind of pleasing gritty texture. Sometimes the sensory experience of a cone dripping down my hands is simply too much and it has to be a cup with a cute little spoon.

SEPTEMBER

It’s an extremely fresh month to me. As a student, I still follow our weird calendar of the year ending in may and starting in August. after getting over those new year jitters, everything feels so new, like everything I’m experiencing is just so exciting, and getting to look forward to the holiday months that follow is even better.
