At first I chalked it up to my phone because I had low storage and she can be slow sometimes. But it's been persistent. More specifically after I hit submit on a comment or share on a post it takes a minute to actually post it and exit that drafting screen.
When I click the buttons at the bottom to switch tabs (from home to notifs or to search) it takes a few seconds between pressing the button and switching the tab.
Also just loading screens in general. If I'm scrolling through friends or everyone it will sometimes not load posts after a certain number of posts. It just scrolls into a black screen. If I wait long enough sometimes it will load the post meant to be there.
I'm not sure what type of information is helpful but I know you said to try to be detailed so this is my experience lately. Not sure if it's like this for everyone.
I’m a ios user and while it’s a bit slow my biggest issue is that whenever I hit that post button the app completely freezes and I have to close and reopen it in order to continue using it… the post upload is successful each time but it interrupts my flow
I'm used to this app being slightly janky(wouldn't have it any other way), but it seems like every function has been agonizingly slow for the last week or so. It takes 15-30 seconds for buttons to respond, and posting takes longer, so much so that I often give up on a post, close the app, and reopen it to find that I actually *did* successfully post it?
- (at least when replying to an ask) recs whitescreen and I can’t see what im typing (could be theme-related? doesnt occur when editing)
- trying to open “categories” on search page crashes app
- image uploads seem to be wonky / non-persistent at times?
- whole app feels slow / laggy; accidentally posted the same rec like 6 times bc “submit response” ui flow was unresponsive, need to refresh ask to see my response under it, loading recs under an ask can take a lot of time / a couple of tries for them to load
made sure to check I wasn’t behind a version or something, not sure if other people are hitting this as well but observed the above in the last ~24 hours
Just today! Buttons not clicking, posts not showing up (just a blank page when scrolling). Slower than usual and needing to close and reopen the app very often.
There's nothing like seeing the city from a plane windows. Sparkling like stars down there. The little people in their little cars and twinkling homes. Feels so bittersweet and human somehow.
More specifically, watching your favorite rom com and then your crush's favorite rom com (is there an adult word for crush), back to back at the same time as they are watching them. But instead of the social exhaustion of video calling you just text while you watch them. Even better you guys like each other mutually, so it should be exhilerating, but they cannot and will not be with you so instead it's just a lesson in your terrible self restraint. Exhilerating anyway. Good movies, good conversation. Unbeatable.
