i'm a huge jazz enthusiast especially if it's from the swing era, and this album is exactly that. the song tangerine has been a favourite of mine forever, but i had never listened to its full album until today and i am so glad i did. i beg you to give this absolute gem a listen. it'll do you so much good. big band jazz is a gift from god.

I think jazzists will be very bothered by this take. jazz is for ordinary people by berlioz is a lovely introduction. Its pop-ey and dancey and quiet nice.

Chet Baker Sings is a sweet place to start.
The songs used in kids on the slope has like a lot of the trad "must listen" songs that are both great and still pretty pop forward. it showcases the early genre well.

it is the perfect "i want 40s jazz in my life" kinda album. It usually ends up in my spotify wrapped cause I listen too often. Plug in and have some romantic whimsy in your life!

i watched it last night and i cannot stop talking about it. cole sprouse's physical comedy paired with kathryn newtons stellar line delivery makes this such a wonderful movie. so funny and camp and i had to rewatch it immediately. beautiful set design and directing. a love letter to the eighties and horror movies as a genre. the soundtrack is also just perfect. id really recommend you watch this film!!

completely enamored. there is so much humanity here. little foot taps and hums. every variation is just wonderful. getting to listen to the evolution of some of the greatest songs is such a treat.

this movie has so many qualities i enjoy; the directing is lovely, the soundtrack is wonderful, the acting is (enter synonym), the plot had me entertained and it wasnt predictable. you should watch this movie if youre not squeamish and youd like to have a good time.
