spring: going on walks, garage saleing, smelling flowers, going on a drive in the country, sitting out on the balcony summer: driving with the windows down, day drinking by the pool, going down water slides, farmers markets, walking around downtown, eating ice cream outside, late night convos on the plastic chairs outside with friends, watching fireflies

spring: watching the sunset in just a sweater even though the temp dips almost immediately, you're just tired of the same thick coat. a horde of "surprising" introspection and deep breaths when ur mind&body feel the seasonal depression dissipate. summer: accepting the perpetuity of sweat for about 3 months straight, but it doesn't matter bc you leave work and you're on your way to hang out with your best friends for some random activity. the chilled water bottle from the bodega or little skip in the park is more than compensatory.

maybe not at this time of year (bit cold) but in the spring particularly i think it is the most delightful thing you can do . doing it alone is nice too. card games, junk food, music and good chats . bonus points if you have a go-to park.. it's the best

if the weather is nice, we cannot possibly be expected to refrain from daydrinking in parks. cracking open a cold one and photosynthesizing is one of life's simplest joys!! bring a book, a friend, a joint, a picnic blanket, a snack, etc. wear sunscreen! avoid cops!

i love love LOVE popping a quick allergy med, grabbing my fav picnic blanket, walking to my local park on a sunny spring day, & just taking a nap. feeling the warmth of the sun on your face while you just take in all of the sounds around you. serenity at its literal finest:)

reels are like... the mcdonalds of media except worse because mcdonalds is tasty. rarely do i ever get a reel that i'm like ohoho!!! thank god i came across this!!! i've largely split from using ig at all because of how easy it is to lose yourself in reels + how shitty i feel after. fuck short form portrait doomscrolling all my homies hate short form portrait doomscrolling
i guess you don't HAVE to use a rec as a rec, but maybe have a third option other than rec and ask. maybe just call it thoughts? for when you have a thought or a feeling that you want to share but it isn't a recommendation. maybe having an anti-rec option under recs, too! like a drop down when you do choose to make a rec, you can choose to anti-rec. make sense?? lastly, having changing your email/password built into the settings. i ran into this the other day when i put my email in wrong and had to get ahold of you guys!!
