In college, my old roommate told me how she read an article that explained how talking out loud your problem to a rubber duck can often help lead you down the answer you needed all along. (This led us to ordering a rubber duck online, whereafter we severely misread the product description and ended up with 20 rubber ducks of varying sizes around the apartment).
To this day, I still often find myself talking to a “rubber duck” (my cat) and it helps me figure shit out. Thanks ducks!
