In class, I'm hopelessly behind. The first barrier you'd encounter is the tricky pronunciation. French words don't sound like they are written. And all that feminine and masculine. Accent punctuation marks, grammar.

I must admit that at first I didn’t enjoy my French class (le prof parle trop lentement), but it’s starting to grow on me! I’ve adopted the mindset that learning does not have to be the fast, competitive process I experienced at school. Language comes slowly and there is something to learn from everyone.
