my best friend and i used to live together with 3 other roommates and once a week she and i would make martinis way too early in the day and clean the whole house. it was always my favorite part of the week and i hate that were in different timezones now because i cant get anything done in a timely manner anymore

yes!! I did the dishes for my friends while I was staying with them on a trip and one of them thanked me profusely but I hardly even noticed I was doing the dishes bc I was having so much fun gabbing with her!

i’m too much of a virgo to enjoy doing dishes with someone who is not on my wavelength, but when they are? unstoppable. my friend and i deep cleaned the gross ass kitchen for our whole our floor in college and we kept a sea shanty going the entire time

Planning Errands with a friend
I love planning to run my errands with a friend. Whether either I am tagging along with them as they get things done, they are tagging along with me, or we are both being productive adults its always a good time. Its been a great way to encourage me to get things done while also giving me more social time with my friends in a way that feels easier to plan because we are doing together the things we usually plan around.
