Sooooo…… I just started watching the show last week (for the first time bcs I’ve ran out of sitcoms and good tv) and why TF is lindsay so annoying. Like bestie stand on ur business. her romance with nick is so ?????? i just don’t understand half of her writing decision. anyone else feel this way? I hate putting down lead female characters but god damn I’m rooting for you but you make all the wrong decisions :’)

i adore freaks and geeks so much but to be honest, lindsay is such a forgettable character. there are so many other interesting storylines and characters that i barely remember her whole deal. sam is my king forever though, i love john francis daley

Listen … as a gay brown person… I must say… HER PEN IS PENNING!!!!!!!!!! Every re watch peels back a new layer of the worst parts of me exaggerated on tv and it’s painful and entertaining and ! to me it almost Exists in the realm of sci fi far away planet nyc in a similar way to gossip girl that obvi this place doesn’t exist but the stories … they … do…. Slay… as … narrative..

I started watching this show on a whim, and I’m enjoying it (apart from James Franco who literally acts like he’s in a completely different show to everyone else…even though he directed it?). But Maggie is magnificent, I would follow her anywhere.

if i had a comfort sitcom, this would be it :,) sadly it only has two short seasons, so i've seen every episode at least 10 times. (if you're going to watch it, make sure to look up the right episode order because it aired out of order.) when i'm at a loss for what i want to watch, i put it on. somehow despite having seen it a bajillion times, the gags still land. there's also something so inherently 2000s about it with its slightly outdated jokes and energy that i find charming. it's the same way i feel about 2 broke girls. it's just fun hjinks with people who are kind of messed up!!!

Buying a Walkman cd player and carrying a book at all times is making life so much more enjoyable than using my phone all the time. Idk what it is but it just feels so much more like I’m living life. I have severe anxiety and honestly these changes have helped me so incredibly much. Not to mention that it is so much better for the artist when we buy their album vs. streaming. Currently reading: Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami. Currently listening: Parklife (cd) by Blur

this book is so comforting for so many reasons. firstly, it is a very quick read (~100 pages), and secondly, it's main theme is learning how it is okay to be lost in your 20's or really at any age. it promotes the importance of transition periods rather than trying trying to escape the emotions. highly HIGHLY recommend as this book literally healed me <3

Left my phone at home yesterday before running errands/going to hang out with friends. shit was actually such a good mistake. I was icking myself out because my boyfriend and I were walking my dog and the entire time I was walking with a firm grip on my phone. It was a totally unnecessary item in that moment. I had no one I needed to call at that specific time, no reason really for it to be on my person. Yet I couldn’t not bring it. I left it at home on accident the second time we left, and it was actually so freeing. my anxiety was so calmed because I didn’t feel obligated to be doing anything besides living in the moment/being present. Ended up walking to the store, caught a movie with friends, and hung out with them after. It felt like I was back in middle/high school when plans with your friends kind of just happened because not even everyone had cell phones then. Idk it was just a really chill time and so I highly recommend leaving your phone at home if it’s not a complete necessity. you might be surprised to find you really don’t need to have it 24/7
