I’m going squirrel mode this spring, if I can’t remember a clothing item once I’ve I buried it, it’s out! Its so easy to keep reappraising things when they’re in the mix, I put the half of my clothes that I’m unsure of under my bed and it makes me use my brain to recall what I actually own and what I actually want to wear. kind of silly but it’s making downsizing way easier.

Especially right at the end or the beginning of an year. It brings foward that feeling of starting fresh, and the joy of rethinking your relationship with your clothes.
The classic system always works best as well. Section by section take everything out, divide by what will be kept, donated, or recycled - there should be a few collecting points where you live. I also started two other piles, the ones that just need repair and a few I'll try trading or giving to a friend.
This time I helped my mom with hers and did a full closet shopping with her clothes. 💃

Getting rid of all of your clothes , not just some , between half and all . The dresses you never wear that would look good on someone more feminine than you . Cool-ish dressy clothes being saved for a fancy event that will never happen . Begone ! Start anew with only the gorgeous and realistic necessities

I could spend upwards of 3 hours scrolling through this website. I’m so obsessed with finding perfumes with notes I like (at the moment my favorites are bubblegum, sea water, and incense). I like to go to Scentbar (strictly the Hollywood location) and hand them my phone and show them all the perfumes on my Fragrantica account that I want to smell. I knowwww a scentbar employee hates to see me coming

lol stupid thing to recommend but specifically for philosophy I find it very helpful to follow imbedded links and see the web of philosophical terms spread and develop as you go. philosophy is so referential at times and it helps me to see things summarized and related directly. once I find a philosophical subset I’m interested in I look at the literature concerned and delve deeper, there are so many free pdfs of philosophical texts online, bless up. you can start with what you know, “philosophy of-“ will almost always yield something. my interest in philosophy started with modern philosophy and moved backwards in time, you might be different. honestly just get in there and have fun with it kid
