i pulled an all nighter to sit in line outside my local record store to get the mj lenderman and waxahatchee drops, anyone else out on the front lines today?
I have never wanted a physical object enough to buy it in an inconvenient way like this but there’s something honorable about all the people who camp out the night before for RSD. I briefly considered joining them just because it looked like fun.
There are only 5 more minutes left on my side of the world to celebrate Record Store Day, but there were a lot of great performances and deals on records at local record shops today! I found records of 3 of my favourite musicians. It only occurred to me after my purchase that none of the records I bought were actually on sale, but oh well, support your local independent record shops!
i went to loch ness today!! i’ve wanted to go there ever since i was a little kid reading my monsters and cryptids book from the book fair cause i was a freaky little spooky kid. did not see any monsters but i bought a little figurine from the nessie hunter guy in dore :)
