I do not recommend: twitter or x, the everything app

Twitter used to be very funny. no one will disagree with me when I say 2018 Twitter was a fair more appealing landscape! You didn’t have to deal with TurboGroyper88 or Evropa Defense Force or whatever awesome names the neo nazis are calling themselves these days, you just scrolled and laughed at funny dank memes and dresses that looked like two different colors to different people! It’s all gone to shit and we all know whose fault it is. Perfectly Imperfect supremacy.

I don’t like posting anymore because on Twitter i get mostly comments from unhinged right wingers and on Instagram from hs and college friends who think im weird But on the perfectly imperfect app? Who knows

If you use soc med with intention, i think it’s really good

Concentrate on accounts you follow, and expect to run out of things to look at. Avoid “for you” and “suggested posts/videos” - when you’re out of Following posts, you’re done :) People have said the internet is full of horrors, and I know that’s true, but I haven’t experienced it. That’s not to brag, just to show it’s possible! And I have spent my time on Tumblr, Reddit, pre-Musk Twitter, YouTube, instagram. Link goes to a post with specific advice for IG and YouTube. I don’t think Twitter can be used this way anymore, and you will have junk shoved into your feed no matter what. Maybe start fresh with new accounts to reset everything, too

I had a crush on a guy who was one of my best friends and in my friend group and I couldn’t tell him for months months months. Because he was my friend and eeeeeeekk!!! And everytime i would see him I liked him more. And I told him. omg I told him the night of the perfectly imperfect sxsw show!!! I told him “I like youuuu”. And I was very scared. But everything was perfect. And now he is my boyfriendddd!!!!!!
