most people in the world now are going at such a fast pace that it’s sometimes hard to keep up with. Instead of also rushing to meet their standards, take your time. not in an asshole way, but make room for yourself to exist. Don’t put more pressure on your mental health ;)

I feel like we've been living too long in a fast-paced world that we forget that not everything needs to happen in an instant. Sometimes, we just need to let it be, give it a moment, and if it's something that needs doing, get back into it.

going through some similar motions and this measely tiktok comment unironically did like +1000 healing to my psyche. really, the key is to remember you can only do so much at once. overexerting yourself will make you too tired to consume the fruits of your labor. they will rot and/or you will not enjoy them this way. find happiness in the little, fleeting moments you’re able to foster for yourself and bite off only what you can chew. besides, you want to make sure not to do things in haste. you want a solid foundation for future you and your contentment and don’t want to find any cracks in it later down the line…

everyone’s all trying to figure out the same things (everything basically) all at once when they’re in college. remember to give yourself grace, life takes time and often doesn’t follow a clear path- trust in yourself

I watched it in the creepiest theatre and the vibes were great. I forgot what the movie was supposed to be about so the intro of her biting the girls finger off caught me by suprise. Also the vibe of everyone there was really strange so 10/10

hanging out with someone and then they put their airpods in/headphones on makes me feel ignored😔 As a music lover myself, I know I do it sometimes too. but when people do this, it lowkey hurts my feelings. I understand that this can be necessary for the people with social/general anxiety, because same here, but please we need to work on this =( plus unplugging in public can be a great way to make friends too (unless you’re purposefully trying to avoid people) so personally, I’m going to try and actively work on saving my music for home alone time
