Discovered this today and it’s one of the best albums I’ve listened to in a while and the story behind its release is so beautiful if you’re a fan of folk rock or indie rock you’ll love this.
For an album that came out this year it really nails the 60s/70s baroque-ish pop and singer-songwriter sound. Brian is half of The Lemon Twigs (with his brother) and this is his first solo album.
If you like Harry Nilsson, The Zombies, Todd Rundgren, Rubber Soul era Beatles, etc. I’d def recommend giving it a listen.

if you like some alt-country, this is like bedroom indie pop jangle folk with drum machines. allegedly this album was inspired by the time he saw stonehenge and it made him want to stop smoking weed.
loved this album and his 2019 Move Around EP is an all time personal fav of mine.
Such an incredible and underrated artist, discovered them through one of their older posts on here and I’m shocked that they aren’t more popular. Such a perfect mix between poetry and singing that is Grammy worthy.
