I know they are super trendy now but putting all that aside, they are great for everything imo. stepping into the grocery store or hopping rocks over a babbling brook they are just beastly things. firm believer they are best bang for your buck sneakers. they are meant to be used and they will have your back. the best shoes I have ever owned.
They are super comfortable & wont phase out of the trend cycle like a samba, for example. I mean they are straight from the 60s! My last pair have lasted me 6 years until recently when the soles began to crack. In my attempts to commit to less material consumption this year, it seems counterintuitive to post about buying new shoes but hear me out– I have been returning to the idea of buying what I know I like instead of what I might like and trying only to buy when I need.
When I tell you that my running shoes are my multi-purpose *everything* shoe I mean it. These shoes are my farmers-market-prowling, bar-stomping, book-store-perusing, 3-mile-running, tourist-town-walking, park-people-watching, trail-shuffling shoes. (and the cycle begins again because I just bought another pair)
makes driving silly and fun, the act of getting close enough to read them but not rear ending them is also a rush so be careful. these are a few I have been able to snap but I have seen some very creative ones
