an excuse to go outside. an excuse for people to talk to you. there’s always something to look at when waiting for the crosswalk light and the sniffs allow for walk breaks that i otherwise would not have taken.
We’re walking 7+ miles a day and my schedule has shifted 3 hours earlier. I’m tired all the time, but I get to temporarily be an active, morning person type all the while knowing my sedentary, dirtbag ways are waiting for me back home.
they love it. It doesn’t have to be their birthday or anything, just when they ask if you can get sushi for dinner, a simple “it’s your day,” goes a long way.
