Hello? You can just sign up for a weekly class where you interact with different people and learn something new? Has completely changed the structure of my week.

I started a pottery class this month. I basically eat shit every time I go without an instructor. and that’s kinda cool 😎Oh to be so publicly bad at something. It makes me laugh and I love laughing

I like going to my little classes. Learning never stops, and also you don’t have to try to learn a new skill alone ! rejoice !

Doing the same exercises at the same level at the same time and place with people who are interested in the same thing as you is like, one of life’s cheat codes after school (whether it’s compulsory or collegiate) especially if you’re in a new city and don’t have an existing support network / friend group (added benefit is keeping your mind active and learning and getting better at new skills 😎) I’ve taken filmmaking, comedy writing, and DJing classes and after each one I’ve picked up at least one new friend I could hit up for a coffee, dinner, or in the best case, to collaborate on a project I’m excited about but am struggling to find the motivation to get started on.

My aunt has been taking Italina classes for a couple of years, and a few months ago we started to have group lessons among the family every thursday, where she teaches introductory Italian based on her classes curriculum. It's going pretty well, especially because we make a commitment together, but have no preassure in "doing well". Also it's a nice way to regularly keep in touch If you have a skill to share and time to spare teach your friends and family! learning in group and for free is the best of both worlds.

Recorded at 432Hz, very peaceful and meditative album. Perfect for sitting in the sun with your eyes closed and being present and feeling like the world isn’t falling apart 🫶
