not spam lol just the name of a cafe in the bay area where i had an incredible chocolate chip walnut cookie and just right not too sweet matcha latte 10/10 would drive all the way there for just this treat again. pic of cup bc cute branding and the cookie was devoured before evidence could be collected

A friend and I got two chocolate chip cookies from different places in Brooklyn Heights yesterday (that tiktok croissant place and Ella Crown). It was cool to go bite for bite and seriously evaluate what I like in a cookie. Also very interesting to realize that my front runner at the beginning (the large boi) was not my top choice for the last bite. Interested to do this with other food types going forward!
Also not apologizing for that sexy grease stain (from the l’appartement tahini one).

do NOT recommend stress baking but I do recommend the outcome! bring a treat to have in the office! today’s treat is a matcha cookie with a white choc & black sesame paste filling 💚

i have two under two and i’ve never felt more vulnerable or in love with the world despite the calamities! i’ve never had more empathy or patience or compassion for all living things! i’m also so tired and hormonal rn so don’t make any rash decisions but so far it’s working for me ☆
ps. pregnancy and labor and delivery physically went very smoothly for me. i had freaky ppd the first time around but so far this time is just overwhelmingly wonderful?? results may vary.
