I am only at page 750 of this huge book so bear with me. This book gets a lot of criticism mainly because a lot of its fans tend to be annoying about it, but if you're willing to read something longer you should check this out. The writing isn't too difficult, but there's just so many intimate stories in here and it seems like the most relevant/prophetic book to our times (not as 21st century but as in actually now). It's amazing and already one of the best things I've ever read

dawg. this book. so full disclosure I’m not done yet but- I’m about half way through and I’m loving the absurdity of it all. It initially felt really odd to read so much Christian lore that I was unfamiliar with (i genuinely felt too Jewish for this book), but once it kept moving forward, the premise really took hold and i found myself enveloped by the writing!! The prose is immaculate too :) All in all, a great read (so far!) of surrealist fiction that keeps me on my toes.

My boyfriend - who's not a reader - bought it for himself but he haven't read it yet (Of course, because this shit is intense) But, that said: is fucking great lol Love me some essays and personal opinions well written, so this was right on my lane. I must say I haven’t realized it’s also a GREAT READ for times like now: religious tolerance is something we’re fucking lacking as of now. So yeah, very short and tedious but a great read overall!!!

its a book of poetry that’s written kind of like a story, and it is very much a kind of non-denominational holy text for me. it is like an anchor for when things get complicated and you need to go back to basics on how to navigate relationships especially. very short read as well! i would heavily recommend
