Its bat day and i wanna show y’all australian flying foxes! they are mostly herbivorous unlike vampire bats and they basically look like sky puppies. Very silly plus they don’t drink blood so that’s epic! flying foxes are not a carrier of rabies, but they can carry lyssavirus which has similar symptoms so still please don’t handle these little guys if you are unqualified or not vacc against ABLV!
Went to the zoo yesterday and the timing was miraculous because we somehow saw EVERY ANIMAL. My favourite marsupial is always the wombat but bilbys are pretty great too!
