Hosted by esteemed art scholar Sarah Urist Green, whose also the wife of John Green randomly. I liked this channel a lot in high school and find it more informative than pretentious.

youtube channel-Great Art Explained

"I'm James Payne, a curator, gallerist, and a passionate art lover. I am on a mission to demystify the art world and discover the stories behind the world’s greatest paintings and sculptures". This is one of my favorite YouTube channels. I know some people say that art is up to interpretation but I find myself more invested when there's an explanation to the context in which the piece was made, who did it, etc. I love it when people explain things, I love history and art 🤗

1. BRENDAWARENESS: really cool and good for the fashion girlies. it is a smaller podcast channel by "Hashtag Brenda", she is big in fashion (she literally spent her birthday with Rick Owens). I call her my digital big sister. https://www.youtube.com/@brendahashtag 2. COLORLESS WONDERLAND: kinda booktube but for not horny people. he used to be a middle school teacher and he has very cool takes and analysis. he hasn't posted actively in a while but he's just overall really good vibes. https://www.youtube.com/@colorlesswonderland 3. PROFOUND PONDERING: this random guy who speaks very candidly about his mental health and is quite relaxing to listen to. https://www.youtube.com/@profoundpondering8575 4. KERWIN FROST: this may be a bit rogue but he was my fav person when i was like 13 in 2018 and was like super into tyler the creator. Drawing a picture and writing short prose instead of filming people doing weird stuff in public

Ok stay with me here. Too much public filming. This is going to discourage good weird public activity. We need people being weird in public. Odd dancing, carrying around insane items, freaked out fits, etc. Instead of a quick vid to show your friends, or, god forbid, *get internet clout*, people should be sketching the scene and describing it in colorful language. Now you have to take accountability for your opinion on the matter, your draftsmanship and writing gets better, and the public freaks have plausible deniability in the job interview. This goes for drunk man on the street tik tok videos as well. Put on a newsboy cap and start jotting. There should be exceptions like intentional performances or heinous crimes of course. I’m open to other exceptions I just can’t think of any rn. This will never be a reality but i can try
