i was just going to say one or two books but really its all my books/notebooks, its also my cats perch and home to a picture i took of my gran and her cat(both have since passed away) plus ive always had this image in my head of my perfect bookshelf and then saw that exact bookshelf materialised in goodwill for $6.99 one day
its creaky and falls to the side if it doesn't have the weight of books holding it in place, been sanded to hell and was deffo some in-over-his-head suburban dadsโ third woodworking project
ppl say that โwhat would u save from a fireโ thing and(besides my cat duh) im like uhh everything on my bookshelf and also the bookshelf..i think the adrenaline rush could make it possible
i also want to note that i think placement and content of ones bookshelf is the most telling to their character and holds a lot of weight for me when making judgements on our interactions, i am a snoop and i will spend no less then 10 minutes ruminating over ur books
[these are photos from a few months back and now its totally full up and i need another shelf for my overflow rip]
Bringing back big clunky dusty photo books in 2024. I need more things to consider saving from a house fire. There is something so lovely about forcing people to sit down and look at your photobooks.
